Paralympian Canadian Veteran requesting wheelchair lift gets assisted suicide offer instead!

Now that Canada has their euthanasia legislation it appears the government has apparently turned into death cult.

Christine Gauthier, a 52-year-old retired corporal who competed in the 2016 Paralympics at Rio De Janeiro, testified to lawmakers that a VA official had offered — in writing — to provide her with a medically-assisted suicide kit. The case officer remains unnamed but reportedly made similar offers to at least three other veterans, according to the Independent.

"I have a letter saying that if you’re so desperate, madam, we can offer you MAID, medical assistance in dying," Gauthier said in a hearing before the House of Commons veterans affairs committee.

Medically assisted suicide was legalized in Canada in 2016 only for those facing imminent death. It now also includes those who suffered severe pain or disabilities.

It is being expanded to those with mental illnesses, or get this, possibly to “mature minors”!

Creighton School of Medicine professor Charles Camosy said Wednesday on "Tucker Carlson Tonight" the bill would allow "mature minors" to be euthanized by state doctors without the consent of their parents (emphasis mine).

Canadian Fashion Company La Madison Simons in a commercial bizarrely promoted the “beauty” of voluntary euthanasia which featured a voiceover from 37-year-old Jennifer Hatch, who euthanized herself because she suffered from Ehlers- Danlos syndrome.

A woman in Canada was actually legally euthanized, not because she was dying, but because she was depressed over her loneliness. Ninety-year-old Nancy Russell lived in a nursing home, with few visitors due to the COVID-19 plandemic. Allegedly, with the blessing of her family, Russell chose to be euthanized.

Human life finds itself most vulnerable when it enters the world and when it leaves.

By the way, abortion is nowhere in the Constitution. The atrocities occurring in Canada will be occurring here soon enough unless we put a stop to it NOW!

The first and fundamental step towards this cultural transformation consists in forming consciences with regard to the incomparable worth of every human life. It is of the greatest importance to reestablish the essential connection between life and freedom. There is no true freedom where life is not welcomed and loved; and there is no fullness of life except in freedom.

When the promotion of the self is understood in terms of absolute autonomy, society becomes a mass of individuals placed side by side, each trying to make his own interests prevail. There is no reference to a truth binding on everyone and relativism reigns. Having lost its foundation, the “right” ceases to be a right and becomes subject to the will of the stronger. Democracy effectively moves towards a form of totalitarianism, where a tyrant State arrogates to itself the right to dispose of the life of the weakest in the name of a public interest which is really nothing but the interest of some. The process leading to the breakdown of a genuinely human co-existence and the disintegration of the State itself has already begun.

When God is forgotten, the creature itself becomes unintelligible. Man no longer grasps the transcendent character of his existence and is reduced to being a “thing.” Life is no longer viewed as a gift from God entrusted to his care, but instead becomes a possession to be controlled and manipulated. Once all reference to God has been removed, the meaning of everything else becomes profoundly distorted.

Pope John Paul II along with Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and President Ronald Reagan stared down the “evil empire” Soviet Union and caused its destruction. Ahh the good old days! When world leaders worked together to do good things for their people and the world instead of doing the bidding of their global masters by instituting unscientific lock downs which ruined people's lives and world economies to set us all up for the Great Reset, where “You'll own nothing and be happy”.
