Mayor Bass, Los Angeles officials and Governor Newscum's ineptitude and utter disregard are another wake up call of the dire consequences that can result.

Bass was somehow previously a member of Congress and barely won as mayor. Who did she run against?

Los Angeles developer Rick Caruso:

As winds shoot up to 100 miles per hour, firefighters are reporting that hydrants have gone dry, according to the Los Angeles Times. "There's no water in the fire hydrants," Los Angeles developer Rick Caruso said. "The firefighters are there, and there's nothing they can do—we've got neighborhoods burning, homes burning, and businesses burning."

Caruso, who lost to Bass in 2022's election, blamed the mayor for not preparing for fires.

"My understanding is the reservoir was not refilled in time and in a timely manner to keep the hydrants going," Caruso told Fox 11. "This is basic stuff. This isn't high science here. It's all about leadership and management, [which] we're seeing a failure of. And all of these residents are paying the ultimate price for that."

After a reporter asked why the hydrants are out of water, Caruso said, "That's a good question. And I think you should start asking. Why don't you call the mayor, who's out of the country, and ask her, and get an answer from her?"

Southern California is a desert. The Santa Anna winds come from Nevada to the east off the mountains every year since antiquity. Yet, Bass not only cut the city's fire budget by 23%, she, as the chief officer in the city, did not make sure the resovoirs were filled so water was available from fire hydrants to fight fires. Where was her mayorship when this disaster of historic proportions was materializing? Years ago, when we still lived in Pittsburgh, black Police Academy Cadets who couldn't pass the marksmanship test were given a pass because, wait for it, whites are more familiar with guns, so they are naturally better marksman.

I had white friends who wanted to be firemen. They scored 100% on the written and physical tests. Some scored over 100% because they were Veterans. Many were denied because the fire department was shooting to get the department to 30% blacks, minorities and women.

Regarding women candidates. Part of the test was to pick up a 150 lb. sack, throw it over your shoulder, and climb out a window onto a ladder down to the sidewalk. Except for one black female candidate, the women couldn't do it. So the rules were changed that the female candidates could drag the 150 lb. sack across the room to the window. I don't recall now if she was just supposed leave you there or throw you out the window. The black female candidate was irate and publicly voiced her opinion on how dangerous and ridiculous this was.

One more memory. Pittsburgh had many neighborhoods. I lived on Polish Hill. Above it was the Hill District, where many black folks lived. The city decided they needed a new fire house and would staff it with only black firemen. Interestingly, when there was a fire in the Hill District, residents specifically said they did not want the black firemen from the close fire house. They wanted the white firemen from the firehouse just outside of the Hill District.

Janisse Quinones is the head of the Los Angeles County Water Dept, the "first Latina woman" to head the dept, hired in May of 2024. Bass got a pay raise from $174,000 as a congresswoman, to $300,000 as mayor. This woman makes $750,000 PER YEAR, a substantial increase over her predecessor, WITH NO WATER in Reservoirs to supply fire hydrants to put out fires! If she was the first documented Martian, what would it have mattered? She was horrifically incompetent at her job!

Her underlings MAKE EVEN MORE! One dispatcher makes $800,000 PER YEAR! Another, $850,000 PER YEAR! YET THERE IS NO WATER IN FIRE HYDRANTS TO PUT OUT FIRES! In fact, fire hydrants were actually being stolen and sold for scrap!

Then we have Governor Newscum, Nancy Pelosi's nephew and former mayor of San Francisco. After trashing San Francisco, he ran for Governor and the uneducated and clueless people of California hired him. He apparently is on a mission to destroy the 5th largest economy in the world. He ruled with an iron fist enforcing the Covid scam on the peasants while openly flaunting them.

He survived a recall, because Republicans in the state were so unorganized, they ran 25 candidates against him with no hope of a meaningful majority and the brain dead of the state voted to allow him to stay on. (Probably with a little election rigging that California is known for.) So here we are AGAIN after previous fire disasters mismanaged by Newscum! Common sense wildfire management demands you thin diseased and crowded trees and clear under brush. This practice is barely followed in heavily fire prone California because of enviroMENTALists. Also, there is actually plenty of water available in California. The problem is, instead of using it to grow food and fill reservoirs made to hold water for fire hydrants, it is diverted and sent straight to the ocean, because that is supposed to save endangered species like smelt. It is actually illegal for California property owners to clear brush and trees around their homes since you might disturb some grub! Now, the homeowners lost their homes AND the grub has no place to live either!

During President Trump’s first administration he suggested to Newscum diverting water from the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta to farmland, which he said would help farmers facing droughts and stop wildfires. Of course Newscum now claims that conversation never happened.

Washington state has many problems. Wokeness, and a war on the 1st and 2nd Amendments for starters. However, because we also have wildfires, there still is some common sense left. Unlike California, where clearing brush and trees around your home is illegal since you might disturb some grub, we are encouraged to fireproof our property as best as possible. There are published guides and groups like the county Conservation District that will come to your property, assess it, and suggest how to fireproof it! Like which plants are prone to burn or not burn. Clear all plants away from decks. No trees near your house. Limb trees 10 ft. high and clean up all undergrowth. It horrified me to see shingle roofs in California. Absolutely buildings should have metal roofs in fire country.

In fact, Hungarian Prime Minister Orban threw Soros and all his shell groups out of Hungary, because he was attempting to overthrow the government.

In a devious scheme to subvert America, Soros started funding the campaigns of hand-picked District Attorneys to destroy the rule of law in American cities. He has succeeded in placing 70 across the United States, who release murderers, rapists, child molesters, etc., right back on the street because bail is "racist", while prosecuting Good Samaritans like Daniel Penny for protecting citizens from harm. Allowing shoplifting up to $950, which closed businesses and created a whole industry of thieves selling stolen merchandise online. They were also instrumental in the "defund the police movement" because police are racist also.

A sad fact. With few exceptions, they will be reelected, even after their plans of destruction have become apparent. Alvin Bragg, for example, would win in New York tomorrow!

And all of the above, sarcastically got Soros a Presidential Medal of Freedom, because he “has focused on global initiatives that strengthen democracy, human rights, education, and social justice.”

Back to Washington state and it's nucleus of insanity, Seattle. Washington is actually a mostly red state except for some mass infestation of woke and Marxism on the west coast, which vastly outnumber the rest of us.

Seattle has consistently elected woke Marxists. Democrats don't even use the new trick, masquerading as "Independents." They actually run as Socialists and win in Seattle. Once a gorgeous place, now a sewer. Even in the business district, you take your life in your hands walking the sidewalks dodging drug addicts and piles of garbage.

Part of the city was taken over during the St. George Floyd riots and destroyed. A police station was abandoned to the mob with the blessing of the openly gay mayor actually coining the phrase "summer of love!" Ironically, it was a part of the city where there were a lot of gay and "alternative" property and business owners, who's pleas for help landed on deaf ears. The police chief at the time ended up resigning because her hands were tied by the mayor and city council. She actually told city residents they were on their own! The destruction didn't matter to the mayor until the "friendly protesters" found her house.

Because the wise residents of Seattle have consistently elected unqualified people, a $20 per hour minimum wage was passed into law, and has taken effect, which is devastating small business owners. And the woke Marxist are somehow shocked and surprised it is effecting their businesses too!

Will consequences of voting blue change the state back to red? Palisades is one of the wealthiest communities in the world. Yet, through abject incompetence, starting from the governor on down, they didn't have full reservoirs, therefore, fire hydrants had no water to fight fires. It is said things have to get bad enough for something to finally change. Does it actually have to get worse than this?
