Democracy is a tyranny of the majority. It serves the majority at the expense of the minority.

A constitutional republic protects the interests of the smallest minority, the individual, against a wayward majority.

The greatest threat to our individual, natural, God given rights is "our democracy".

And yet, if the left acknowledged we actually do live in a Republic, they would choke on the words and their heads would explode!

Thank you my friend and for the reminder of your post. That is a most detailed piece to further explain the extreme danger we are in and how we got here.

Spot on. As Dr. Franklin said when asked what form of government the Founders gave us. 'A REPUBLIC, IF YOU CAN KEEP IT'. So I doubt the word Democracy was ever used in the U.S. CONSTUTION. And the democrats keep repeating democracy, as does the MSM. When we are a Republic. More brainwashing. We are about to lose our Republic by becoming more like socialist Europe.

Thank you for this article. Being Canadian we studied US politics more than our own..unfortunately..but there were some few things you explain here I did not know.

Keep hearing from MSM (ad nauseam) the word Democracy and did not understand what they meant as everyone knows(should) that US is a Republic (soon to be other)?? What??

It’s a disgraceful steal for sure as has happened in my beautiful homeland also..🙏🏽

You're welcome Pat. Living next to the border I have met many Canadians and by them I judge you guys as decent people. It is heart breaking to see what is happening to your freedoms under Castro's son.

They do have a democracy. Since people sign their lives and children over to the government, the money inside the bureaucracy of social security and Medicare are the cash cows that manipulate the country.

530 bought and sold people in Washington dictate the lives of 330,000,000 people using their “laws” and the budget they create by controlling the fiat system.

There is a democracy. The democracy of 530 that rules this country in fact.

And only because "We the People" have dropped the ball in holding our public servants who swore an oath to the Constitution accountable or fire them with servants who will.

The same people who’re in power and want us to want “Democracy Now!” control our education system. It’s like Jay Leno’s “Jaywalking” street interviews bit on a grand scale.

Checkmate.

Takes your breath away! Side note. Jay always left you thinking how those people could be so stupid! Dr. Franklin answered the question...

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

Is Anyone Surprised That United Nations Employees Took Part In The Deadly October 7th Attacks On The Jews And Israel? I’m Sure Not.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), a UN body providing aid for Palestinian refugees, announced on Friday it has launched an investigation into suspicions alleging some of its employees were involved in Hamas’ murderous attack on Israel on October 7.

Though the “Constitutional Republic” is a superior system to one purely democratic, it is subject to the same human failings and greed motivation; the words of the Constitution are systematically IGNORED BY ALL

The Founders had thoughts on that...

“Neither the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt.” –Samuel Adams

“Without morals a republic cannot subsist any length of time,” –Charles Carroll

“Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters.” –Benjamin Franklin

Affirmative and apropos. All knew this and foretold this but it’s up to the PEOPLE to minimize their corrupt cohorts and maximize morality. Sadly.

Good luck to you. I think it has become a toss up as to which of our deranged so called leaders is trying to strip Citizen's rights faster!

No contest unfortunately. The toss was won by the Malthusian Marxist Party (formerly known as the “Lieberal Party”😏) which has until at least 2025 to even CALL the “election” which is presaged by the coalition calamity brought to us by “Jasmeet Rolex” and his merry band of imposters and thieves. We’re not even sure if we’ll actually HAVE another “democratic election”, because all departments of the government including the ones that do final tabulation of votes for publication and release “official election results”-ALL MAINSTREAM MEDIA is owned by the government, bought and paid for with taxpayer grants and subsidies...gifts too. Commies commies here and there 🤔😒Commies commies EVERYWHERE

The issue of the republic defending the individual states from invasion is an interesting point given the Texas border story. Is the republic failing Texas? Is Texas defending the Republic?

Expand full comment
author

That is an interesting point! Texas was and still is the Republic of Texas before it became a state. And yes, I think Texas is defending the Constitutional Republic of the United States. As I said, I think 3+ years and more than 10+ million invaders too late. I have read many who have and still are questioning Abbott's motives. Thank you for reading.
