I'm sorry. I almost didn't make it past the first paragraph. The beginning of the first paragraph really threw me off, but when I got to "... Founding Mothers who were, of course, XY chromosome women...." Really? At this point I was past confused. I did manage to read on a little bit to try and figure out if you were talking about REAL women and you did seem to be. So, I guess my problem was the degree in Biology. Men are XY. Women are XX. You were inadvertently alleging that the women who were heroines, to my understanding, were really cross dressing men.
I appreciate you bringing these women forward to be applauded for their brave acts! I'll try to not read the first paragraph again, because that cognitive dissonance is overwhelming.
