Well done. I knew the Supreme Court made some bad decisions, but I didn't know how many. The whole "separation of church and state" was the biggest and most destructive perversion of the truth ever foisted upon the American people. Thank you for noting how the marxists always push the "make no laws" part of the 1st amendment to suppress faith in every way, but ignore the "nor prohibit the free exercise thereof" – but also, and especially, the "congress shall not" part. Which means if "congress" did not make a law, for or against it, it's fine. So the Ten Commandments, biblical expressions, prayers, etc. is all legal in public, and even in municipal buildings and government institutions, because 'congress' did not make a law. But most people have been propagandized over decades to believe it's illegal. It is criminal legal abuse on a grand scale.

You're welcome. WE are supposed to be the purveyors of disinformation!

I was simply agreeing with your opening statement, that "Prior to 1940, this was none of the federal government or Supreme courts' business!" -- and thus "changed America for the worse.", as noted in your subtitle. So I'm a little confused by your "WE are supposed to be the purveyors of disinformation." reply.

Sorry. I wrote that too short. The Left is constantly accusing Americans of spreading disinformation when they are actually the ones doing it. The "Separation of Church and State" statement that was highjacked absolute disinformation.

I have an old friend who knew Nat Hentoff. He was also a good friend of Cardinal O'Connor. Hentoff won the Great Defender of Life award from the Human Life Foundation in 2005. From his speech regarding O'Connor:

"So when I first went to meet him to start doing the profile for the New Yorker, I thought I owed it to him as a member of the predatory press to tell him where I was coming from. And I told him … I am a Jewish, atheist, civil-libertarian prolifer. He asked me to repeat that. And he took out a pen. I think he thought he had discovered a new sect. …"
