Excellent and much needed historical perspective. One of my earliest ancestors in America was an immigrant midwife in Boston. She was jailed for her work and became famous as the first woman’s rights advocate. A 4th or 5th grandfather rode with Paul Revere but received almost no credit. American history is impossibly rich with history. Another female is famous for clearing out her region of British pre revolutionary war.
