There's just a certain segment of society who won't see the truth even if it hits them in the face. The rest are reading commentary like this that, as the late Walter E. Williams used to say, pushes back the frontiers of ignorance.

Thank you Michael. One can only try. If you are familiar with the "lead a horse to water" saying, I once saw and heard a little girl say it better. "You can lead a horse to water, but why?"

I am pleased to see you were familiar with Walter Williams. A great man who used logic and common sense to explain his postion. We were fans of his. He had a wicked humor streak. He was filling in for Rush Limbaugh and started a firestorm that he planted apple trees and the deer were eating his apples, which he considered theft. He was going to shoot them. The calls that he took were hillarious, false when he explained his position to the frantic, animal loving caller.

Are you familiar with his story about when he was in the Army about getting chewed out by the Sergeant for cutting through the Officer's mess? The payback was priceless and true Walter Williams.

That is all that is keeping them at bay. As I have shown though, they are picking us off one at a time.

Mine also. Clint Eastwood is one of our best actors. Did you ever see his debate with the empty chair that was supposed to be Obama?

Personal story. My wife's brother who also happens to be a good friend of mine drove truck and was delivering supplies to a movie set. He had to blink a couple times, but Clint Eastwood was helping direct the traffic in and out! He was waiting for them to get to his truck and was talking to Clint Eastwood for a little bit. He asked Eastwood if he could ask a question and he said sure. He asked him what ever happened to Clyde the Orangutan. Eastwood was stunned for a second and said no one EVER asked him that! He then explained how Clyde was okay and living with his owner/handler. They talked for a litt!e while about other things like what it was like being a Conservative mayor in Carmel. Then they shook hands and said goodbye after his truck was unloaded.

The best story I ever heard about Eastwood was told by Donald Sutherland. When they were shooting Kelly's Heroes, one day Eastwood approached Sutherland and said he had to tell him something serious concerning Sutherland's wife. He said she had been arrested for trying to buy explosives for the Black Panthers. Sutherland was of course horrified. Eastwood then began laughing so hard he fell on the ground and Sutherland had to help him up because he was telling him they caught her because she used a PERSONAL CHECK! Eastwood then put his arm around Sutherland, walked him down the hill that overlooked the Yugoslavian countryside, and assured his friend of his complete support with his predicament.

It was priceless. Eastwood also has a knack for comedy.

Why, all able-bodied Israelis, have a military commitment? Since the Israeli Declaration of Independence in 1948, fixed-term military service has been compulsory in Israel. So it's not from lack of proper training.

In a society where everyone is familiar with guns they somehow have a gun fearing mindset. Israel does have its fair share of leftists.
