Same FBI That Interfered In Elections Also Violating the 2nd Amendment!
Coercing Americans to sign a form the FBI unconstitutionally created that other government agencies are also using.
Throughout history, tyrannical governments have attempted to limit the number of weapons that their citizens have. In some cases, eliminating them all together, as in the example of Mao disarming Chinese which enabled him to kill 80 million of his own citizens.
America was 13 colonies populated by British subjects who had a Bill of Rights officially called “An Act Declaring the Rights and Liberties of the Subject and Settling the Succession of the Crown” which was passed in 1689. It contains things like freedom from excessive bail or harsh, cruel, and unusual punishments. Freedom to petition the king. Freedom of speech and from excessive taxes. And the right to bear arms for self-defense.
The Second Amendment was added to the 1787 Constitution along with the other nine amendments to make up the Bill of Rights ratified on December 15, 1791.
A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed, (emphasis mine).
What part of this is not plain English?
According to Merriam Webster:
infringe: to encroach upon in a way that violates law or the rights of another.
Also, plain English.
The increasingly tyrannical United States government has been convicted by its own actions. A glaring example: categorizing parents who went to school board meetings to complain about the nonsense being taught to THEIR children as DOMESTIC TERRORISTS. For years now, the United States government has insidiously been working to disarm American citizens through various unconstitutional methods since any restriction, ie, “infringement”, is null and void.
Similar to the way Mao disarmed the Chinese by telling them since you are under my protection now you can turn in your personal guns, we have leftists, including Biden, now telling us which guns we need for hunting and we can turn the others in, completely obfuscating the purpose of the 2nd Amendment, which is, you have a God-given right to protect yourself from any person or thing, including the government! Henceforth and thereto with, you can have any gun for any purpose, and as many as and as large as you please, as stated by Alexander Hamilton in Federalist 28:
[I]f circumstances should at any time oblige the government to form an army of any magnitude that army can never be formidable to the liberties of the people while there is a large body of citizens, little, if at all, inferior to them in discipline and the use of arms, who stand ready to defend their own rights and those of their fellow-citizens. This appears to me the only substitute that can be devised for a standing army, and the best possible security against it, if it should exist.
There are estimated to be over 400 million guns in the United States between police, the military, and American civilians. Over 393 million (Over 98%) of those guns are in civilian hands, the equivalent of 120 firearms per 100 citizens. A whopping 392,273,257 of those are estimated to be unregistered! The average gun owning American has 5 firearms, while nearly 22% of gun owners only have a single firearm. (So, the government including the FBI really have their work cut out for them!)
Explain this verbiage apparently created by the FBI, with no legal or Constitutional authority, being forced on people by the FBI in lieu of prosecution for whatever alleged crime they are being accused of:
Courtesy Washington Examiner
Once you sign the form you are put into the FBI's National Instant Criminal Background Check System, (NICS). Since you were coerced into “declaring yourself a danger to yourself and others” and/or “lack the mental capacity to contract or manage the details of your life”, you are Forbidden from ever again owning or possessing a firearm and to try to purchase one would be a felony! You are also unconstitutionally ordered to sign away your rights!
Note to the FBI or any other government entity:
Americans can’t sign their rights away! They’re free to not exercise them, but they ALWAYS retain them should they decide to exercise them at a future time!
Let alone that the Gun Rights Act of 1968 clearly states that you can only be deemed a danger to yourself and/or others in a court of law!
Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA) told the Washington Examiner he wants to know if more federal agencies have used the NICS forms. The congressman put forth a resolution in November, which Democrats rejected on Wednesday, that would request Attorney General Merrick Garland turn over documents in connection to the forms.
It's just really, really concerning, said Clyde.
Is Veterans Affairs using this form to try and get veterans to self-report and deny themselves their Second Amendment, right?" he asked. "That needs to be discovered. We need to investigate that. In the majority, I think it becomes a valid question and a valid investigation, and I think we need to spotlight that.
What was the resolution that Representative Clyde introduced, and Democrats blocked? Resolution 1477 which states that Attorney General Garland provide the House "no later than 14 days" after its passage with "a complete and unredacted form" and "a copy of any documents, records, reports, memos, correspondence, or other communication either generated or received by the office of the Attorney General that refers to information" on the forms.
Garland is also asked to provide information on "how the determination to distribute the forms was made" as well as the prior "reasoning for distributing the forms."
Sounds perfectly reasonable. The FBI works under the direction of the Justice Department. Garland needs to explain why and how American's 2nd Amendment rights are being violated. Why would Democrats block this?
In 2017, the House voted 235 to 180 to overturn an Obama administration rule that the Social Security Administration share information about people with mental illness with the FBI through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS), making them incapable of owning a firearm because it violated all rules of due process and the Disabilities Act of 1990. Emails indicate the Social Security Administration is STILL obtaining the above-mentioned form!
In emails first obtained by the firearms rights group Gun Owners of America during its Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the FBI then shared with the Washington Examiner, apparently, these abuses are being conducted by other agencies also, including the Secret Service and Immigration and Customs Enforcement, (ICE).
Good evening [redacted]," a Secret Service employee wrote to an FBI employee on March 30, 2018. "Attached is a NICS self-submission form for [redacted] (DOB: [redacted].
His USSS case number is 127-679-0044105," the email continued, noting it was sent from a supervisory protective intelligence research specialist. "If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you.
On March 26, 2019, an undisclosed ICE employee wrote to a NICS liaison specialist, "Please see attached signed form."
In response, the specialist wrote back 10 minutes later, "Entered," to which the ICE employee said, "Awesome!"
Is there collusion between the FBI and members of Congress?
More disturbing, on the day members of Congress were trying to get Resolution 1477 passed, avowed Marxist and gun hater, Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), introduced a bill, co-sponsored by Reps. Ken Buck (R-CO), John Curtis (R-UT), and Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL), that proposes to, wait for it… pass legislation for people to waive their gun rights and add themselves to the NICS database. What a coincidence!
Jordan and other members, including Reps. Dan Bishop of North Carolina and Thomas Massie of Kentucky, have said the legislative push is evidence that the FBI acted inappropriately. This is because it shows the bureau actually needed congressional approval to strip people's gun rights with the forms, they say.
What we're looking at is evidence that the FBI went off on their own and wrote the bill and implemented the bill that you are trying to pass here today, or did pass, and will try to pass on the floor," said Thomas Massie of Kentucky.
We are in truly dangerous times! We should be taking the prophetic advice of Alexis de Tocqueville:
True friends of liberty... ought constantly to be on the alert to prevent the power of government from lightly sacrificing the private rights of individuals to the general execution of its designs. At such times no citizen is so obscure that it is not very dangerous to allow him to be oppressed; no private rights are so unimportant that they can be surrendered with impunity to the caprices of a government... [because] men accustom themselves to sacrifice private interest without scruple and to trample on the rights of individuals in order more speedily to accomplish any public purpose.
Yikes what a scary thing!
Central government is always at war with freemen,it’s the Beast System that murdered Christ and His apostles, there is freedom in Christ or slavery in the Beast System.
