I think my parents were quite committed to making sure none of their kids had to have calloused hands, ever had to 'dig ditches', do hard physical work. (They had to do hard work growing up) . But I don't think they thought about the ramifications of this kind of thinking, how it can create a we-them sort of mentality, and how it robs people of a certain kind of maturity, physical confidence. I only gained that confidence after I chose to take on jobs that involved physical labor, sweat. Life lesson (Sports were supposed to suffice, but that didn't really work imo.)

Parents have always wanted their kids to have it better because they loved us. It was a two - edged sword. Like you said, some things were not thought out all the way. They were only human too. What we have been seeing is parental responsibility gone off the cliff.

Sometimes I do. Then I see young people like Vince Dao whose video I featured. The group that was at Western Washington filming the crazy girl. Or the interview I heard with Sen. Ted Cruz how as a Senator young people in his state who want to get into military school send him their applications. He gets hundreds of applications from fine young people.

I think we'll be okay😉

This is an astounding article. It puts things very much into perspective. --- We live with a bunch of nuts! 😉😋 Sadly, people made these nuts, and undoing what they have done is going to be a huge task that I don't think can be fixed readily. Those of us that do, and have, worked a real job for a living are going to be royally screwed.

Thank you. It won't be easy. However WE ADULTS are going to have to step in and do the job their parents neglected. WE will have to start telling them NO instead of humoring them! Gov. Sarah Huckabee in her response to Brandon's babbling hit it on the head by calling it all craziness!

I told some no at work. I was threatened with termination.

Even President Trump kicked out Don Jr, when he wanted time off after buisness school to go play, he had go to real work. Lived in his car ate from the gas station. Forgot to cancel his gas card.

I didn't repeat my parents mistakes. I had boys, they learned to wash dishes, mow lawns, toss real newspapers in a small town. It took with the oldest, the youngest follows his nutty wife's dictates, spendaholics.

This is HUGE NEWS. If you have friends or family members who are White Males with GOOD JOBS, it would be a kindness if you’d pass this post along to them. Tell them the killer asteroid is coming. Here is a link.

Naturally, it would be good to share this as widely as you dare on Social Media. I am still banned on Twitter and Facebook, though Elon Musk has a copy of Reality Prism and a note, so I expect to eventually be allowed back.

That was one freaky movie with so many different plots going on. Your analysis and questions at the end are thought provoking.
