I love how the Collectivist Left always distort a voluntary form of association when they invoke their top-down diktats. Barry Hussein Soetoro did this constantly, that and conjuring up strawmen out of thin air: "Now, some people say we should let rhinoceroses grind up our children for bedding! I say, no way! We're better than that! Just as Americans came together to form Rotary Societies, so too are we going to ask some other folks to chip in a little more, meaning tax the living crap out of people I don't like - so we can keep those kids safe from those murderous rhinoceroses! They can sleep on the ground, for all I care! We need to spread the wealth around!"
