How Education was Destroyed in America

How a nation of independent, self-educated, self-reliant people became a nation of ignorant, obedient, docile sheep

The Founders thought education was essential and advocated for public education. In fact, educating the people was the only way to insure the preservation of the nation:

Every child in America should be acquainted with his own country. He should read books that furnish him with ideas that will be useful to him in life and practice. As soon as he opens his lips, he should rehearse the history of his own country. - Noah Webster, On the Education of Youth in America, 1788

Americans were so literate at the time of the Founders, Jefferson in a letter on Jan. 15, 1787 to St. John de Crèvecoeur said:

Ours are the only farmers who can read Homer.

Next time someone complains about:

• Schools needing more money for students.

• Not enough teachers

• Teachers don't get paid enough.

• Teachers have to buy school supplies from their own pockets.

If teacher's unions were actually acting in the best interests of students and teachers, why would they go along with harming them both in this fashion?

This is one of the main reasons the state of education in America is so pathetic. Then add in the Covid plandemic, where schools illogically closed because Covid posed little or no threat to children. The teacher’s unions were outrageously actually giving marching orders to the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) about the reopening of schools and related issues! This is documented to have set Americas children back two years in their education process, including causing numerous behavioral and mental health issues!

As a result, to cover up the facts, schools are now actually modifying the grading system by not being permitted to give a “D” or “F” and instead adopting a “competency-based learning system!

The Founders on education

The Founders had a profoundly different idea of what it meant to be literate than we do today. The ultimate reason was so that the people could understand and protect the government they created for us.

Up until the late 1800’s a good education in the United States could be obtained without government interference or oversight. Surprisingly, 50 percent of a population of 3 million in 1776 were indentured servants and 20 percent were African slaves.

However, during that time 600,000 copies of Thomas Paine’s Common Sense had been sold in the United States and had been read by countless Americans. The equivalent of 6 million copies today. Definitely a #1 Best Seller.

With a population of about 7 million in 1812, Pierre DuPont wrote in “Education in the United States”, "...that out of every 1,000 persons fewer than four can’t read or do numbers." He attributed this fact to traditional dinner table debates over passages read from the Bible, the most widely available book at the time. In other words, children learned how to read with an understanding of what they were reading and they knew their numbers. All this education took place at home or in one room school houses. The children who came out of these schools grew up to be self reliant and individualistic.

This means 99.6% of the population in America was literate and knew math before a public school system ever existed. George Washington and Benjamin Franklin never had any formal schooling! In addition, what the Founders meant by literate was having familiarity with the great works of science, philosophy, history, poetry, and prose. Having read the Bible, Plato, Aristotle, Locke, Newton, Shakespeare, and being able discuss them intelligently. They knew Latin, Greek, and a number of other languages. In contrast, according to a study conducted in late April 2014 by the U.S. Department of Education and the National Institute of Literacy, 32 million adults in the U.S. can't read.

That's 14 percent of the population! 21 percent of adults in the U.S. read below a 5th grade level, and 19 percent of high school graduates can't read! Statistics showing 33 percent or our nation’s college graduates can’t read or calculate well enough to perform the jobs they seek while we spend $600 BILLION per year on education in America! That breaks down to about $14,500 PER STUDENT!

The Prussian System brings the downfall of American education

It all started with Napolean shellacking the Prussians in 1806.

A strategy was devised in which the Prussian government would set up a forced government educational system which would turn out well disciplined students who would follow orders without questioning authority. To accomplish this feat, the goal of educating children became a national priority filled with strategies adapted to turn out a national work force rather then an educated citizenry. Every step in the education process was calculated to offer authority figures the least amount of trouble and consequently train a well disciplined docile citizen. Of course this policy did not apply to the approximately 200 upper class families who ruled. Their children would attend private schools and then universities. The Prussian system may seem familiar to Americans in that it demanded compulsory attendance, national training for teachers, national testing for all students (important because it gave the government the ability to classify children for potential job training), national curriculum set for each grade, and mandatory kindergarten. Mandatory kindergarten was necessary because it served to break the influence of the mother over the child thus making the child more responsive to government influence. The substance of the course work in Prussian universities in tandem with the educational philosophy tended to be socialist and collectivist in nature, exactly what we see today in American universities.

Working against the concepts and principles the Founding Fathers provided in the Constitution, the Prussian system has produced a gradual but statistically provable decline in literacy and intellectual capability of typical Americans. We can track the five different stages that American education has gone through: 1750-1852—The idea of government controlled schools was conceived; 1852-1900—It was politically debated in state legislatures; 1900-1920—We had government controlled industrialized factory modeled schooling; 1920-1960—Schools changed from being academically focused to becoming socialized; and 1960 to the Present—Schools became psychological experimental labs. 

There is a story that through a long and detailed explanation gives the answer to why most modern railroad tracks in the world is exactly 4 feet, 8 1/2 inches wide. The answer is because that is how wide the grooves in the road left by Roman chariot wheels were! 

America and other modern countries based their education systems on a model that was devised by the Prussian government over 200 years ago as a forced government educational system to turn out well-disciplined students who would follow orders without questioning authority. That produced a willing, cheap labor force with minimal reading and numbers skills. Because the elites of the world understood that people who could read and understand are dangerous because they are intellectually equipped to find out things for themselves, thus becoming a threat to them. A system designed to produce the exact opposite results that everyone keeps trying to get from it! Or is it? Let's look the razzle-dazzle plan to improve American education, Common Core, which failed miserably, created by unqualified people behind closed doors and funded by Bill Gates, who despite making his billions because of a capitalist and free society stated: "The Private Sector Is Inept-Only Socialism Can Save Our Planet", who like George Soros, http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/viewSubCategory.asp?id=1237 , funds numerous nefarious causes in this country and around the world, even though when they were both alive, you were supposed to be suspicious of the Koch brothers who were harmless by comparison.

Remember, your Founding Fathers had total faith in you:

How can this possibly be accomplished when you can't read the information readily available about candidates and you are relying on biased media sound bites? When you can't even read the ballot you are to fill out? Are you picking a candidate because someone else told you which block to fill in?

So the American education system and Western civilization for that matter, were modeled after a system meant to create mindless drones who only knew so much, follow directions explicitly and never question authority for generations now. How people were trained to be a flock of docile, obedient sheep! Where there are sheep, there are always wolves to prey on them. Why do you think the World Economic Forum so confidently says, "You'll own nothing and you'll be happy"?

• That is why the Covid plandemic succeeded! Why people who knew masks don't work, quarantining healthy people would destroy civilization, natural immunity was better than any alleged vaccine, etc., had to be silenced. Why people were illegally told to get a shot or lose their jobs, even if they had natural immunity or a religious objection. Why people literally like lambs being led to the slaughter closed businesses that took them a lifetime to build because some dictatorial bureaucrat declared their life's work "nonessential", even though that is how you fed yourself, your family, your employees and their families. While Wal-Mart, with hundreds of people inside at a time was deemed "essential"! Do you think the banks didn't foreclose on the homes they put up as collateral to start the now failed businesses? The ones who resisted were ruthlessly punished even having hundreds of thousands of dollars illegally confiscated from their bank accounts, NJ Confiscates ALL Assets from Gym Owner Who Defied Gov.’s Lockdown. Why the occupant of the White House when ordering Americans to get the shot said, “we are losing our patience”. Who is “we”, kemosabe? Who exactly do you think you are, ordering American citizens to do something? Why hysterical people screamed in your face to put a mask on, (which negated the purpose of the mask in the first place). Why these same people are completely alone in their cars are wearing masks. Or jogging in a park completely alone with 2 or 3 masks on.

• Why people are terrified of being called "racist", "climate denier", "transphobic", " homophobic", etc., even though they know they are none of these. The late, great, Andrew Breitbart had a standard response to these baseless accusations which would drive his attackers insane! "So"?

On a side note: Andrew Breitbart was a Californian leftist. One day while at Conservative Orson Bean's house, who happened to be his father-in-law, he incredulously and mockingly asked him why he had a book by Rush Limbaugh “The Way Things Ought to Be”, on his bookshelf since Breitbart “was convinced to the core of his being that Rush Limbaugh was a nazi, anti-black, anti-Jewish and anti all things decent.” Orson asked if he ever listened to Limbaugh. He lied and said yes. Bean calmly invited Andrew to listen to Limbaugh and get back to him. He “grew to love his wit, humor, and character when analyzing the news” and went to Orson Bean and admitted he was wrong. Breitbart among his achievements engineered the takedown of ACORN and exposing (pun intended) Anthony Weiner sending pornographic pictures of himself to a minor while the left did their best to cover it up. He was a great, fearless, Conservative powerhouse until his untimely death almost outside his front door from a heart attack at age 43 walking home from a neighborhood bar. Definitely not a sheep!

• Why the women's rights movement abandoned women's rights to allow men claiming to be women in locker rooms with little girls or to play in women's sports and dominate because they are so physically superior. Why a woman nominated, now on the Supreme Court, would not answer the question of what a woman is because of political correctness!

• Parents taking minor children to clubs to see barely clothed men dancing erotically and having the children put dollars in their G-strings while if these same parents took their minor children to a female strip club Social Services would be taking them so fast your head would spin.

• Why elections are being rigged right in front of our faces, with all the smoking guns clearly visible. Government officials are supposed to shake in their boots when you threaten them with the "Hatch Act", where they are forbidden to interfere in elections. Yet the DOJ, FBI, CIA, NSA, etc., interfered before and after the 2016 Presidential election colluding with Hillary Clinton to create the Trump/Russian Collusion scheme. Then the FBI interfered in the 2020 Presidential election by calling the Hunter Biden laptop Russian disinformation, then ordering and paying social media to carry the water and censor anyone who said otherwise, yet don't even care that you know. Anyone with a lick of common-sense raising questions is called "election denier" or worse, kidnapped and put in the Washington DC gulag, DC Political Prisoners Request Transfer to Guantanamo. Why today, Jan. 6, we're remembering something that didn't happen, “the Jan. 6 Insurrection” allegedly by Trump supporters while repeating the lie of police killed and passing out awards to police who should instead be indicted for aggravated assault and/or murder for their actions that day.

• Why we're watching the Washington swamp on both sides of the aisle, leftist media and Conservative talk show hosts on the same page getting behind the nomination of Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House. Are any alarm bells going off yet? While berating Republicans who oppose him as un-American and even DOMESTIC TERRORISTS! What exactly did the Freedom Caucus ask McCarthy for that he called them self-serving and selfish? Votes on term limits for Congress and a Balanced Budget Amendment. That ALONE disqualifies him!

• Why in an insult to our intelligence we are being told that "our immigration system is broken" when the only thing wrong with our immigration system is the laws already on the books that have worked forever are not being enforced. Why we're being told "walls don't work" by people who live in gated communities with not only one, but two or three walls and barriers to enter! Why Putin staging 190,000 troops on Ukraine's border was an invasion yet Biden's regime allowing 4,900,000 people to illegally cross our Southern border is not.

Back before Disney went woke, they made wholesome and educational films. One made in 1952 was called "Lambert the Sheepish Lion”.

A stork is making a delivery to a flock of sheep. All the ewes get lambs except for one, but a lion cub makes his way out of the stork's sack and bonds with the childless ewe. The stork sees the lion is destined for South Africa, but decides to let him remain with the flock when the ewe has taken in the cub and named him Lambert. Because Lambert is different, he is ostracized by the rest of the lambs, which continues after he matures into a full-grown lion.

He grew up thinking and acting like a sheep. A 500 lb. sheep! Till one day, a wolf came and was dragging away Lambert's mother. At first, he cowered with all the rest of the sheep. Then something snapped and Lambert remembered what he actually was, a LION! He saved his mother and became the protector of the sheep.

Our Founders were not sheep. Our ancestors were not sheep. They shaped and created this country which is unique in all of history and changed the world. They were lions! Your very life and freedom and the lives and freedom of your children are under attack RIGHT NOW! You can continue being one of the sheep you were purposely trained to be. Maybe the wolves will come for you last. But they will come for you. I don't know how happy or fulfilling a life that can be. Or you can remember you're actually a lion and get on with figuring out why you are here and what you are supposed to be doing in this world in the first place. Be a lion and do them all proud.
